Welcome, April!!

Well... gak terasa udah masuk bulan April. It means, it leads to D-100 towards Ramadhan and 2 months 16 days towards my D-Day.. ^_^

gak terlalu bikin gerogi, tapi gak terlalu santai-santai banget juga as to welcome Ramadhan I already paid my "bolong" (insya Allah) and to welcome my D-Day, the preparation is almost done! semua design sudah acc, dan tinggal nunggu hari jadinya aja............. (semoga memuaskan untuk semuanyaaa...... aminnn)

tapi tetep, yang bikin degdegan itu ada di make up and hairdo for the bride and the groom........
terakhir kali aku datang ke Miarosa (my vendor for this item), masih ada beberapa revisi untuk baju pengantin laki-lakinyaa.......... :(
Well... gak menyalahkan 100% sih, karna ka Pras juga badannya lama2 makin gede karna dia rajin menggedekan dadanya (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz). Alhasill.... tiap kali fitting keliatan selalu kekecilan di bagian dadanya...

Looks not too bad for the outlook before finishing. Tapi tetep kita minta bajunya dibetulin biar keliatannya enak dilihat... hehehe
dan pihak Miarosanya menyanggupi.. Bismillah... semoga setelah ini, fitting lagi dan udah keliatan enak dilihat....... amin.....

For the bride's outfit, sayang banget gak kefoto karna sibuk untuk review detail dari bajunya biar gak ada yang miss. hehehe...

The chosen catering

What do you think the most important when holding a wedding reception??

of course the catering!!
Well... actually, starting from last year, I already look for the best catering to be used in my wedding reception.
the concern is: the taste of the food, the decoration that they can give, and the price itself. hoohoho.....

after searching in internet, i got several choices. And Kiki Catering took my heart on them to visit. But before that, I put Alfabet Catering on the first place since my mom really really really want it to become our catering (well.. just let mom's choice be the best ever). But for me, I fell in love with the foods coming from Caterindo, especially for the sate padang that I ever ate in my sister's friend's wedding. It was really delicious!.
So we had Kiki Catering, Alfabet Catering and Caterindo as choices.

First review coming from Kiki Catering. The food is totally delicious! They also offer the wedding package including wedding organizer.For your information, Kiki Catering is located on Jl. Elang Malindo No 10. Curug Indah, Jatiwaringin Telp : 021.8618746, 8618750, 86604191, 86603858.


The second review, we go to Caterindo after visiting Kiki Catering. Well, because of its sate padang taste so delicious, I wonder to have it to be my catering in my wedding. And after talking with the marketing (I forgot the name, but she is very kind to serve me and my mom), we got into conclusion to compare that Caterindo is much more expensive than Kiki Catering. Fiuuuhhhhhhhhhh.................. So.... we got the answer for not to cross Caterindo from our list. hiks hiks

And the last journey to get the selected catering is Alfabet. It is located on Jl. Minangkabau No.24 Jakarta. The marketing is very friendly to help us. I don't remember the name of the first marketing that help us, but I know that she was pregnant and ready to born her child in a short time. hhihiii...
Well.. the kindness of the marketing much influence me to share more about my wedding dream to her. And maybe to choose Alfabet for the catering (hihihii...)
And the amazing thing that maybe no other catering can do is before we go home, the marketing asked me to wait for a moment and she brought a big basket that contained 15-20 kinds of food for the sample for us to taste at home. huwwwoooooooow. cool!

But truthfully, I really appreciated the way Alfabet take the customer's heart. hehe...


So.. maybe it's obvious that finally we chose Alfabet for the catering. We hope that this will be the very best we can serve to our invitations since we know, the main concern in a party is about the food availability . hihihihii........

The Journey begins...

And it goes to have more serious effort when you know that your big event would only take 3 months to be happened.

hahaha... well... yeah it's true, and it happens to me. I got more crazy when I realize the March has come, and my D-Day will be happened within 180 days ahead...

but thanks god, all vendors are officially selected almost 80%.
I chose Gedung Puri Ardhya Garini Halim for the venue.



simply, I chose it because it's near my house (Located in Jakarta Timur, Halim Perdanakusuma). the capacity is not very big since we plan to send 700 invitations letter. meaning that we don't need a venue that has above 2000 people capacity. huhuuu....
So, we think PAG is the right place for us.
Just info for this venue: the price for the noon event is Rp 22 mio, and for the evening event is Rp 25 mio.
Well I think it's worth it since the building is quite elegant with so many beautiful traditional carving inside. But......... if you want to hold the holy matrimony in that place too, you can choose one from the two options offered: in the VIP room or in the Mosque near the venue with additional charge for both of them. For using the VIP room, you have to pay the additional charge Rp 1,5 mio and for the mosque, you should pay Rp 2 mio.
And my choice goes to .................. the Mosque !!

not too big but not too tiny for holding the holy matrimony in this mosque...
if you want to have a private moment, maybe this can be the best choice...
Well... Just hope everything will run as we expect. The sharing will never be enough to written in this blog.
